If you love the outdoors, Subic is the place to be. Make a break for it and head into untouched forest and sweeping scenery. Between the spectacular theme parks and the walking and trekking trails, Subic Bay is a nature lover’s wonderland.
It’s just as good for families and kids at heart. Make it a full day trip or an overnight stay, there’s plenty going on for everyone.
Explore Zoobic Safari
Zoobic Safari is a 25-hectare wonderland where animals roam in manmade habitats. It sits in the jungle area of Subic Bay, rich in streams, grasslands and rugged terrain, and you can walk through the bird enclosures and get close enough to feed the animals. It’s one of the most visited attractions in Subic Bay, and it’s the only tiger safari in the Philippines. The tour takes about 2 to 3 hours. Here’s what’s on it:
Savannah
Ride the tram through an enclosure of goats, potbelly pigs, wild boars, guinea fowls and ostriches.
Serpentarium
Step into a converted ammunition bunker and get a close look at snakes, baby alligators, turtles and different types of lizards.
Bone/Skin Museum
A unique collection of bones, real stuffed animals and well-preserved animal skins.
Tiger Safari
Ride an enclosed jeepney into a 2-hectare enclosure and get almost close enough to touch Siberian-Bengal tigers as the park guides feed them.
Bird Walk Experience
Step into a tranquil sanctuary for parakeets and love birds, and feed them from the palm of your hand.
Aetas’ Trail
Mingle with our Aeta brothers as they share part of their culture, including their tribes’ traditional dances.
Croco Loco
Walk across a suspended bridge with crocodiles watching from below, and feed them as you go.

Explore Magaul Bird Park
Magaul Bird Park at Subic’s J.E.S.T. Camp is a newly built attraction that celebrates the Bird Kingdom. So who is Magaul? It’s the bird that pecked the bamboo that Malakas and Maganda were born from. The park is named after that historic bird, and it’s the only Filipino-themed bird park that can launch hundreds of winged wonders on stage in an amazing bird show. There’s plenty more to see too:

Explore Ocean Adventure
Ocean Adventure is an exceptional marine sanctuary in Subic Bay, home to some of the world’s most magnificent mammals in their natural habitat. Swim and rub shoulders with these beautiful creatures as they show off their talents in the open waters they call home. Explore FUNtastic Subic

San Roque Parish
A quaint chapel inside Subic Bay, just a few minutes from the Boardwalk area, where tourists and locals come to hear mass. It’s also a peaceful place every Lenten season, when people from all walks of life visit as part of their yearly vow to pray the Stations of the Cross and Visita de Iglesia.

Spanish Gate
The Spanish Gate was the entrance to the original Spanish naval station established in Subic Bay in 1885. The Subic-Olongapo base gave the Spanish navy a place for repairs, supplies, ammunition and medical support for its ships. The Spanish garrison held the base until June 1898, when Filipino forces drove them out. The U.S. Navy formally occupied the area in September 1899, and it was abandoned in 1992 when the U.S. failed to renew the Military Bases Agreement.

Yacht Club
The Subic Bay Yacht Club is a premier setting for a luxury stay. The Mediterranean-style building on Rizal Highway, inside the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, is hard to miss. With untainted waters and a safe harbour, it’s one of Subic’s top destinations, known for superb service and elegant amenities: five large swimming pool sections (waterslides, children’s pool, lap pool, pool bar and the main pool), plus a tennis court, a basketball court and a beach volleyball court. Take in the Marina view from the restaurant, which serves casual Asian and Italian dining with a wide selection of wines.
